20 hours? I have heard 1000 repetitions to make a reflex and 10,000 hours to mastery. I have not heard 20 hours before. 20 hours of me drawing hands and they are probably not at the point of having the correct number of fingers yet.
Heya. You're right, it does take 10 k hours to master something (from Outliers book). It's equivalent to drawing only hands for 5 years on a full time job. It's pinpointed at people aiming to be at the top of their field so my reasoning is that doing so will put you on the same level as the old masters (hand wise at least).
To learn a new skill and be "good" at it, it seems that you need 20 hours of focused learning (Roughly 45 minutes every night during a single month).
Sorry all. Most of my free time is being spent socializing during the holidays. I believe I need to draw 10 extra pages of hands within the week to appease the hand god.
I completely agree that the hands need more refining and to look more feminie like. I also think extending the sleeves and making them fingerless gloves would make the design more interesting. I think what I have now is very basic and it's something i'd use as an under sketch when i add in additional details.
Her left or our left? Granted that i drew the deltoid muscle on the left side of the picture a bit farther out than what i intended to, I think the tilt on her collarbone combined with the trapezius muscle looks proper. If possible, I'd like to see your correction on top of my drawing for clarification.
Bull's horns relate to being maverick? Never knew, that's interesting. Design wise, I'd really like to see orchid's concept art. I think incorporating the " MM" somewhere in the design would also make the mascot more relevant.
I wonder why. I personally use photobucket. You can sign up for a free account. When you upload a picture to it, you can just copy and paste the "IMG" URL and it should show.
