« on: August 27, 2017, 10:19:27 pm »
I found this video that I thought properly explain pacing as some people have no idea and this video gave a very basic explanation that anyone can follow.

I made it half way through before concluding it was garbage. He loves Death Note. An adequate series that tries too hard.

In the end, do you want to do quality or get rich. Garbage makes you rich. Quality.. You'd better keep your day job.

Load with emotional triggers. No need to make them to make sense or maintain continuity. Most people will respond to this. Most people are no smarter than your dog. Welcome to Star Trek, "reality" TV, and pro wrasslin. Card board cut outs and cliche.

I think regardless of how you feel about death note it gives a good idea pf how pacing should be and how you can learn from it. Death Note priginal anime was pretty good and an instant classic.

I believe it has to do with having several sources to support a 'How-to' tutorials. The video may be okay, but having the focus squared mainly on Death Note to serve as an example on storytelling done right may rub off as 'favoritism' to some.
