I changed the smoke as per Hema's advice.
I took a different approach to the color scheme, this time going for a day time setting.

So I get you want to make your blood look semi cartoon. But I think you have to pick and choose when you use it. If you are going for this detailed and more realistic style it comes off more as a flaw.

Most of the time though your blood looks like oil. So I definitely still recommend you work on balancing out and seeing how blood works on surfaces like clothes. And how much of it should be used and what would it look like.

For example those single strand of thick blood drips are too singular to believe it would be dripping like that. Sod it looks like she ate an icecream cone and it slowly melted off rather than being blood.

I think that is one of the biggest things you need to work on.

Will do. Seeing as this piece has become more of a canvas for testing ideas, I'll probably try to practice drawing blood on her.

Been a while since my last post. I didn't mean to disappear all of a sudden, but life got in the way.

I don't have anything productive to share other than this mock-up/prediction I drew for a future One Piece chapter. Spoiler alert, by the way, so don't click if you're not at least caught up to the latest chapter.

Looks pretty good but i stopped reading one piece for a while. So i dont have too much to say about it. Lay out looks fine. The art seems to be playing it safe. No big rosks involved in that page.

How did you add the blurb on the corner of the page that shows the next manga chapter?

The picture with Luffy's face and the "One Piece" lettering were cropped out of a random chapter. I also cropped the pointing finger but inverted its colors. The "Ch. 882/end" and "One Piece will be on break next week" were done using the Anime Ace 2.0 font, but I skewed it so that it's straight rather than the usual italic nature of the font.

Nah I wish there was, would have saved me a ton of time.
If you're looking for one yourself, I can clean up my file and upload it somewhere.

It would actually be interesting to have. I don't have any Photoshop program at the moment. But it's still good to possibly have if anyone wants to make manga manuscripts.

Just dropping by to say that I'm still alive. Life has just been beyond terrible.
Might slowly start to post art again in the coming few days.

Have you been working on any stories in particular?

Yeah, I drew a 10 page manga for a small local competition. I'll share it here once I scan and clean it up in Photoshop, considering I drew it all traditionally. I also wrote up several small stories which I'm also looking to share here in the coming days.
